And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?
I love this chapter in Esther. Mordecai realizes that God put Esther where she is for His purposes. Now Esther has to realize it, and be brave and act.
I had three outstanding thoughts this morning.
1. God’s cause is independent from ours. He will accomplish His desires in history. Period.
He didn’t need Esther… if she choose not to speak, God would raise up help from somewhere else! (read the chapter.)
2. Our cause cannot by independent from His! God is working in history for His glory. If I hold back from being part of what He’s doing, to do my own thing, I will miss out on the greatest blessing and opportunity and reward. Imagine that God would use an Esther to accomplish His desires… or a… Nancy! or a…. fill in your name here! He can do this without me, but I can do nothing without Him!!!!
3. God’s cause is an opportunity to use the gifts He’s given me and the place He’s put me for His glory!!!! Oh come on! Think about it. Who you are, and where you are are not circumstances for you to consume on yourself, but for Him!
Now, doesn’t this wake you up today! Know what God is doing in history…how? Read your Bible daily. Come to know what He’s doing. Then what? Let Him use you in His cause. Wow! It’s so thrilling to be part of what God is doing! Jesus is coming soon!
Here’s a picture of some blessings and opportunities God is giving us. Wow! I wouldn’t miss out on this for anything!
More than anything I would like to encourage you in your walk with God!
