My days are swifter than a runner;
Job’s complaint was that God was not a man. Job had no standing with God. Job couldn’t go to God and plead his case. Job was afraid of God. He needed a lawyer to lay his hand on both of them and find sympathy and resolution! But he couldn’t find one.
Oh, there is good news for us! God became a man! The God-man came and took God’s judgment against sin. God actually suffered for us. Now Jesus stands between a holy God and a sinful people! Jesus pleads our case. He understands. He sympathizes. His hand is on both of us. We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. (1John 2:1)
What wonderful news! Have you received the Lord Jesus?
More than anything I would like to encourage you in your walk with God!
