Today I'm celebrating my dad's birthday. He would have been 95. Last year I wrote a tribute to each of my parents. I think it's worth a rerun. I'm SO thankful that God gave me this man for my father! I miss him and look forward to the Grand Reunion!
It's hard to put a few words on paper to remember a man. This morning I thought of something else my dad taught me... to look forward to the Lord coming! I can't believe I didn't put that down earlier! He really thought the Lord Jesus would come in his lifetime. At the end of each year he would say with sadness that he thought the Lord would have come by then. If he could see what was going on in our world today, he would be so grieved and convinced of the Lord's soon coming! Even so, Lord Jesus come! Perhaps today!
10 (or 15) things my dad taught me… or a tribute to my daddy, Ray Routley.
More than anything I would like to encourage you in your walk with God!
