Job longs for the good old days and recounts the terrors of the present day. I had so many wonderful thoughts this morning. Job reminded me of the Lord Jesus.
And now I have become their taunt, I have even become a byword to them.
They abhor me and stand aloof from me, And they do not refrain from spitting at my face. Job 30:9,10
But I am a worm and not a man, A reproach of men and despised by the people.
All who see me sneer at me; They separate with the lip, they wag the head…
Job endured terrors at the hand of God without understanding why. Jesus chose to undergo terrors that I will never fully grasp. He chose. For me. For you.
I’m on the run this morning but I want to leave you with the song of my heart today.
I am not worthy the least of His favor,
More than anything I would like to encourage you in your walk with God!
