God speaks! What a relief. And what words! I want to quote the whole chapter here. Read it! He speaks out of the whirlwind and then takes Job on a whirlwind tour of creation. Questions keep coming up…
"Who is this that darkens counsel By words without knowledge?
Where were you?
Do you know?
Can you lift?
Can you send?
Job is shown to fail the exam. He in finite, powerless, inadequate, small, and stupid. What strikes me this morning is that God didn’t explain Job’s suffering. He gave Job a view of Himself in creation. His power, His majesty, His glory, and His wisdom. He is the answer. He knows what He is about.
Yesterday Craig and I took a wonderful walk and marveled at the clouds, so this verse stood out to me today...
Who can count the clouds by wisdom, Or tip the water jars of the heavens…Job 38:37
Not me! Not Job. Not you! I’m so thankful for my God who is the only wise God.
More than anything I would like to encourage you in your walk with God!
