Bring them here to Me.

But Jesus said to them,
"They do not need to go away; you give them something to eat!"
They said to Him, "We have here only five loaves and two fish."
And He said, "Bring them here to Me."
Ordering the people to sit down on the grass,
He took the five loaves and the two fish,
and looking up toward heaven,
He blessed the food,
and breaking the loaves He gave them to the disciples,
and the disciples gave them to the crowds,
and they all ate and were satisfied.
They picked up what was left over of the broken pieces,
twelve full baskets.
Matthew 14:16-20
“Bring them here to me.” I love it! The job of the disciples was to bring to Jesus what they had. He would use it and make it something.

This reminded me of God speaking to Moses.
The LORD said to him, "What is that in your hand?" And he said, "A staff." Exodus 4:2
What happened? Moses staff became the staff of God! He made something of it!

We have nothing that we haven’t received. What a thrill to use what we have been given for the One who gave it and watch what He will do with it! I’m loving that thought today!
Take my life and let it be
Consecrated, Lord, to Thee.
*Take my moments and my days,
Let them flow in endless praise.

Take my hands and let them move
At the impulse of Thy love.
Take my feet and let them be
Swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take my voice and let me sing,
Always, only for my King.
Take my lips and let them be
Filled with messages from Thee.

Take my silver and my gold,
Not a mite would I withhold.
Take my intellect and use
Every pow’r as Thou shalt choose.

Take my will and make it Thine,
It shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart, it is Thine own,
It shall be Thy royal throne.

Take my love, my Lord, I pour
At Thy feet its treasure store.
Take myself and I will be
Ever, only, all for Thee.

I love this. It has become a great comfort that the Lord will use what we have and then make it enough for the situation. It also helps so much with having to be in quiet work at home........ no safer place to be then in the Lord's will.
