Finders Keepers Losers Weepers
Sorry, that is not in the Bible.
Here is the Law of God for Lost and Found.
"You shall not see
your countryman's ox or his sheep straying away,
and pay no attention to them.
You shall certainly bring them back to your countryman.
If your countryman is not near you, or if you do not know him,
then you shall bring it home to your house,
and it shall remain with you until your countryman looks for it;
then you shall restore it to him.
Thus you shall do with his donkey,
and you shall do the same with his garment,
and you shall do likewise with anything lost by your countryman,
which he has lost and you have found.
You are not allowed to neglect them."
Believers must be willing to spend their own time and money to love neighbors. This law teaches us the heart of God, and we can imitate the compassion of our Savior and not the heartless greed of our world.
God loves to find the Lost. He loves to bring a lost man or woman home into His own house. When a lost man or woman comes to God for recovery, God gives that lost sinner back so much more than he ever lost.
"For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."
See what you can learn when you read the book of Deuteronomy?
For me to live is Christ.
