Thank God and praise God every morning and evening.
1 Chronicles 23:30
They [the Levites] are to stand every morning to thank and to praise the LORD, and likewise at evening,
Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.
Consider it your duty as a priest; consider it your privilege to thank God.
Thank God = accept everything that God has done as good. Put the bad and the good together in one basket, and offer it back to God as an offering of thanksgiving. Look past the present pain to the future benefit for each detail of life.
The good thing about the bad things is that we never forget them. Bad things repeatedly come back to our thinking like a sore tooth. The pain and hurt is a frequent reminder to offer it back to God as an offering of thanksgiving.
What is the bad thing about good things? We quickly forget good things. It takes work to remember the good things God has done for us and all the good things God is doing for us. We are lazy, but if we work to remember and thank God; God will be pleased and our hearts will be changed.
If Jesus is your Savior, you are a priest. Thank and praise God morning and evening and in the middle.
For me to live is Christ.
