Job 6:1-2 Job's wish:
Oh that my grief were actually weighed
and laid in the balances together with my calamity!
Job had a ton of trouble, and he wished that it could be put on a scale and weighed!
Who sees? Who cares when God's children suffer?
Psalms 56:8 David's prayer:
You have taken account of my wanderings;
Put my tears in Your bottle.
Are they not in Your book?
God not only weighs troubles, He counts tears and saves them in His bottle, and records it all in His Book. Look what happens when the book and bottle are opened!
Psalms 126:5 God's promise for your tears:
Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting.
The bottle that counted tears will soon overflow with immeasurable joy.
2 Corinthians 4:17 God's promise for your weights:
For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison.
The scale that weighed grief and affliction will measure back immeasurable glory in exchange for measurable trouble.
Jesus is coming back! His reward is with him. He will repay the work and tears of each of His children.
For me to live is Christ.
