If you cannot explain why the creature does what he does,
how can you explain why the Creator does what He does?
Job 39:13-17 Can you Figure out the Ostrich?
The ostriches' wings flap joyously
God has not given me my share of understanding! I think if I keep the rules, I should know what God is doing. But that is not good thinking. God does not act by my plan; God acts in accord with His own character. I know that his timeline includes before and after my birth, so some purposes for my life will not be realized or understood while I am alive to see them. I also know that God has allowed sin to run its course in history so that man will know the sinfulness of sin and the inability of man to cure sin. Sin adds a terribly unpredictable element to life.
If you know God, but you cannot explain what God is doing; do what Job did. He worshiped God and repented of his wrong thoughts.
Job 1:20 "Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head, and he fell to the ground and worshiped."
Job 42:6 "Therefore I retract, And I repent in dust and ashes."
For me to live is Christ.
